Boots & Boys

The Look:

Dress: Target (it’s reversible), Cardigan: Target, Tights: Rue 21, Boots: Wal-Mart, Bracelets: Dustee’s, Ring: Gift from Summer

As the greatest poet of our time, Ke$ha, said, “there’s something ’bout boots and boys.” And aren’t these boots awesome?! I bought them several years ago for a Halloween costume (I was Ace Ventura), and they ended up being one of my favorites. And as I’ve said before, I love the mix of hard and soft!

Swag

The Look:

Jeggings: Old Navy, Shirt: Old Navy, Cardigan: Target, Flats: Target, Jacket: Target, Watch: Wal-Mart, Bracelets: Brighton (gift from Grandma Carol) and Lucky Brand (gift from Aunt Lisa), Rings: T.J. Maxx and Forever 21, Earrings: Brighton (gift from Mom), Eyeshadow: Thrill Seeker by Rimmel, Nail Polish: Lady Like by Essie, Lipstick: Rave by Rimmel

So, I got some new awesome bangs. I feel so trendy. Someone even said they like my new swag (I think that’s a compliment). I’m guessing it was the combo of my new hair and awesome jacket. I love the mix of hard and soft with the bad-ass jacket and cardigan flowing out from it. I’m sure there will be more similar looks. See you soon!

Cider House Rules

The Look:

Jeggings: Target, Sweater: Rue 21, Boots: Alloy.com, Watch: Target, Bracelets: Hand-me-down from Grandma Carol, Rings: Gift from Aunt Lisa and $1 Jewelry Galore, Earrings: Cato, Eyeshadow: Thrill Seeker by Rimmel, Nail Polish: Lady Like by Essie, Lipstick: Dare by Rimmel

I had a lunch date with my stellar friend Jen at Roly Poly today (I had the Cider House Melt), and she was kind enough to take these pics for me. And I found a big rip in the outer fabric of my boots. I guess I’ll just be forced to buy some more. Such a shame. Have a happy Thursday!

Ruffles

The Look:

Shirt: Rue 21, Jeggings: Target, Boots: Alloy.com, Cardigan: Target, Sunglasses: Ray Ban Wayfarers, Earrings & Watch: Dustee’s, Ring: $1 Jewelry Galore, Nail Polish: Sew Psyched by Essie, Lipstick: Just So by Rimmel

To celebrate my wonderful Mom’s birthday, I took her to lunch and we did some light shopping. In return she took these pictures for me. She didn’t understand why I just didn’t look straight into the camera and smile. I told her it wasn’t the way of the blogger. But I still felt silly posing. Anybody else feel awkward in front of the camera?
